Lynda Lane, Owner and Chief Executive Officer

Since acquiring Real Estate Temps in 1997, Lynda Lane continually provides visionary leadership and strategic direction for the company’s network of regional offices in California, Nevada and Arizona. Under Lane’s leadership the company has grown to become the largest of its type nationwide, annually placing more licensed sales agents in temporary and full-time assignments than all its competitors combined.

During Lane’s ownership, the company launched a successful expansion into key geographic markets throughout the Western U.S. while maintaining the infrastructure and industry knowledge to follow clients to other major markets across the nation. Prior to acquiring Real Estate Temps, Lane spent more than 25 years serving as executive vice president for The Koll Company, one of the largest real estate services companies in the nation. While at Koll, Lane played a key role in the acquisition and successful integration of more than 30 companies and 3,500 employees.

In recognition of her entrepreneurial spirit and business expertise, Lane has been awarded the title of One of the Top Executives to Watch by the Orange County Business Journal, as well as two finalist nominations for the Entrepreneur of the Year award by Ernst & Young.

Lane has served on the boards for several organizations, including Hoag Hospital, the environment-focused Miocean Foundation and Mardan, a school for children with learning disabilities.

Beth Phillips, Senior Vice President

Beth Phillips is responsible for the strategic planning and daily operational management of RET, with additional responsibility for directing the company’s sales and marketing activities. With more than 20 years of business development and client retention experience, Phillips oversees the activities and consistency of services of all RET Staffing/Real Estate Temps regions.

Prior to joining RET, Phillips served Shea Financial Services, a division of J.F. Shea Co., as director of homeowner insurance. Her background includes a career in title insurance marketing and management, serving as Vice President and Sales Manager of Stewart Title of California, Orange County division, and spending 11 years with Chicago Title Company in sales, marketing and management among other positions in real estate settlement services.

Phillips is a licensed California real estate broker. She earned a CSP designation and has been a member of the Building Industry Association for more than 2 decades, during which she was active in the Homebuilders Council, Sales and Marketing Council,  and Outreach, the predecessor to the homebuilding industries’ community philanthropy, Home Aid.

Kathie Ohmer, Vice President, Recruiting, Training & HR

Kathie Ohmer has served homebuilder clients at Real Estate Temps for 13 years. Prior to her arrival at RET, Kathie was involved with various residential, commercial and industrial developments in Southern California and has held a key account management position in a niche staffing company. In her current capacity, Kathie supports the company in a variety of sales and marketing activities which focus on generating revenue and building relationships. Kathie’s enthusiasm has won her the respect of her peers as she has been a dedicated member of the Inland Empire Sales and Marketing Council and the Orange County BIA.  She holds a California real estate license, has earned  CSP designation and is Eliant Certified.

Theresa Gambs, Vice President

Theresa Gambs currently oversees the company’s operation in Arizona, which includes Phoenix, Tucson, Casa Grande and Flagstaff. With more than 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, Gambs is a seasoned professional and holds brokerage licenses in Arizona and California.

Prior to joining Real Estate Temps, Gambs served with The Reiser Group, a sales and marketing agency dedicated to residential property developers and focused on new home sales. While there, Gambs successfully wrote contracts for and closed on more than $15 million in escrows. Gambs has also served with Commonwealth Land Title, successfully building her office to the highest performing unit in the company.
